Vienna

Vienna, reminiscent of the aristocracy, Walt Sing and elegant. Unfortunately I met in Vienna in March, one day, when the winter chills with the forces struggled to survive last spring.
I decided to my hotel in a remote area, because of cost savings to the choice of parking. Even if you are not within walking distance of attractions, this is not a disadvantage. Vienna has an excellent public transportation so you can easily jump to any part of the city in search of tourist attractions.
Old Danube, the area where I chose my hotel is a former arm of the Danube that no direct communication with and is currently used as a paradise for boaters in the summer, I mean.
A walk in the center of Vienna to the dome begins with the tallest building in the area and in fact one of the most imposing Gothic buildings in Europe. It ‘s interesting that, although the center of Vienna has retained its imperial architecture and the air of past centuries, the dome is reflected in a modern concrete and glass building called Haas Haus.
From here you can always walk through the narrow streets lined with elegant shops, squares, bars, restaurants and other tourist attractions in the ring.
The best way to visit the historic center of Vienna is to rent one of the carriages wait patiently for customers near the dome. It ‘s true that the RID is a bit’ expensive (65 € for 40 minutes), but how else to come in the skin of aristocratic Vienna of Emperor Franz Joseph and Empress Sissi?
Then you can leave your car at the Imperial Palace if you want the royal apartments, the Sisi Museum and the Spanish Riding School to visit.
From here you can choose your path to Parliament, a magnificent building with Greek influences (although in ancient Greece was the cradle of democracy), which continues to be a fountain dedicated to Athena, goddess of wisdom.
If you are tired you can go back to the city center where you can try one of the many restaurants and have a cup of tea or a Wiener schnitzel (not necessarily with potato salad) and a glass of traditional beer.
Where you can stay another day, I encourage you to visit Schönbrunn Palace.
You can visit Babilon travel and find more articles on travel destinations, tourist guides, local recipes and audio and video album.
